J.D. Power recently released it's 2009 Customer Satisfaction Study and Chevrolet fell in spot #4 in their Top 10 Mass Market Brands for Sales Satisfaction.
The survey rated overall customer satisfaction in five areas: dealership facility; salesperson; paperwork/finance process; delivery process; and vehicle price. Chevrolet received a score of 863 on a 1,000 point scale.
In tough economies sales pressure can be experienced more than normal and according to J.D. Power that is where customers ranked dealerships with a lower score. One in five shoppers left the dealership due to poor treatment, pricing gmaes, sales pressure or other unfavorable treatment by the dealership staff.
